Privacy Policy

Movement Ads is a small consulting practice and this site is built to match. We don't run marketing pixels, advertising trackers, or behavioral analytics on this website. The information we do receive is the minimum needed to talk to prospective clients and run engagements.

1. Who we are

"Movement Ads," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the sole proprietorship operated by Bridgette Orten, trading as Movement Ads. This policy covers movementads.com and any information you provide to us in connection with our services.

2. What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us:

  • When you book a strategy call: name, email address, phone number (optional), time zone, and anything you write in the booking notes. This is collected by Calendly on our behalf.
  • When you email us: your email address and the content of the message.
  • If you become a client: information necessary to run the engagement, including business details, ad account access, and any data you share to inform strategy.

We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other behavioral tracking on this website. We do not buy or sell email lists.

3. What our infrastructure collects automatically

The site is hosted on Vercel and uses Google Fonts. These services receive standard web request information when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamp. This is the same information any website receives at the network level. We do not combine it with personal information you've given us.

  • Vercel (hosting): standard server logs.
  • Google Fonts (typography): IP and browser metadata as part of the font request.
  • Calendly (booking): see Calendly's own privacy policy at calendly.com/privacy.

4. How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

  • Schedule and prepare for strategy calls.
  • Respond to your questions or messages.
  • Provide the consulting services described in our Statement of Work, if we work together.
  • Send invoices and necessary engagement communication.

We do not use your information for advertising or send unsolicited marketing emails.

5. Who we share it with

We share information only with the limited service providers we use to run the business:

  • Calendly for scheduling.
  • Vercel for hosting this website.
  • Google Fonts for typography.
  • Email and document tools (e.g., Gmail, Google Drive) used to communicate and store engagement materials.
  • Payment and accounting services to send invoices and keep records.
  • Subcontractors (e.g., editors, designers) who are bound by confidentiality and only receive what they need to do their part of the work.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

6. Cookies

This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Third-party services we use (such as Calendly when you book a call) may set their own cookies on their pages. Their cookie practices are governed by their privacy policies.

7. How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it: booking and email records for the duration of conversations and active engagements, plus a reasonable period afterward; financial records as required by tax and accounting rules; engagement materials for the term of the SoW and a defined post-engagement window. We delete or anonymize information when there's no longer a business or legal reason to keep it.

8. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • See what information we have about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your information, subject to any legal records we're required to keep.
  • Opt out of further communication (other than what's necessary for an active engagement or to close an account).

Email us at bridgette@movementads.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days.

9. Children

This website and our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us, including using reputable service providers and limiting access to engagement data. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Significant changes will be flagged in a visible way on this page.
